Weddings
WEDDING INFORMATION
Wedding Repertoire: We perform traditional wedding music to enhance the ceremony and create beautiful memories for a lifetime. Repertoire list can be provided upon request.
Venues: I can accommodate requests to perform in wedding ceremonies held in both indoor and outdoor venues. For performing outdoor ceremonies, electrical outlets are required.
Receptions: Repertoire for receptions includes light classical, movie themes and selections from musicals such as Phantom and Secret Garden. I can perform for the entire duration of the reception. In my experience, many brides have chosen to have me perform light classical selections while guests are in a receiving line and taking refreshments – approximately 30 minutes. In these situations, I perform only at the beginning of the reception- after which a dance band or disc jockey takes over.
Requests for Solo Violin Performance without keyboard: I prefer to perform with piano and/or organ accompaniment. However, I can accommodate requests for performing as a solo violinist with no accompaniment.
Duo Violins: I can also perform weddings in which I collaborate with a second violinist; either with or without piano accompaniment.
WEDDING FEES
Wedding Fee: $675.00 – Includes solo violin and keyboard
Receptions Fee: $675.00 for first two hours (or any portion thereof) – Each additional hour (or portion thereof) is $100.00
*The wedding fee includes a consultation for music selection, the rehearsal, and the wedding ceremony.
SPECIAL REQUEST POLICY
We are happy to include two special requests for no additional fee; however, two conditions must be met:
- The piece must be appropriate for a wedding ceremony in our opinion.
- The piece must be available in a violin/piano arrangement of professional quality. We reserve the right to refuse to perform any piece we do not think is appropriate.
IMPORTANT! For each piece beyond the two special requests agreed upon, we will bill the client $50.00 per piece to compensate us for the extra time and expense to prepare.
